"No matter where you are, if your research is more successful, it is natural that you should get more pay. However, if you are in some journals published articles linked to monetary rewards, it will cause distortion." Recently, Randy Schechtman (Randy W. Schekman) at the Institute of Biophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China Science News reporter, said.
Schechtman is now working at the University of California at Berkeley in the field of cell biology, as well as life sciences Open Access Journal eLife editor. In 2013, he and another American scientist James Rothman (James Rothman) and the German scientist Thomas Suderhof (Thomas C. S dhof) common gains in the Nobel Science Prize in medicine or physiology, their research reveals how to organize the transport cell system -- "the mystery of vesicle trafficking".
